In her debut album, "Where The River Meets The Ocean In The Sky," Judith Outten beautifully displays her "God given" talents not only as a bold new vocal talent but also as a songwriter. The single is currently available, while the album will be available in Sept 26, 2005. The mini-EP features 4 fresh new songs, all written and performed by Judith Outten.

Judith Outten was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina as the daughter of a minister. Since the age of six she has enjoyed singing and as a young child she joined the Children's Youth Choir at Rickard's Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion (A.M.E.Z.) Church in Wilkesboro, NC and later she went on to become a member of several other choirs and singing groups, including: the Gospel Choir at Rickard's Chapel A.M.E.Z. Church where in between songs, she would help the youth choir with their songs and then hurry back to the gospel choir to sing the next selection with them. Later she also sang in the mass choir at Shiloh Baptist Church in Buffalo, NY.

Always one to strive, Judith Outten attended several Historically Black Colleges and went on to attain a Bachelor of Science and later earned a Doctorate.

Her career began in earnest when she won a karaoke contest at a Spa Odyssey Women's Business Conference. Her rousing rendition of the disco classic "I Will Survive" landed her a weeklong trip for two to Mexico. At that point, she realized that her "day job" was her vocation but not her life-her passion had always been singing. She discovered that writing and singing gospel music was just another way of  bringing comfort, and sharing God's love. Creating this new gospel CD, Where the River Meets the Ocean in the Sky is a way for her to give back all of the joy that God gives to her through music.
